Use when you have a call that you don’t wish to drop, but which you have to

interrupt briefly to do something else.

Hold

To put a call on hold while

you answer another call,

make a call, or do

something else

1 Press

• The green light flashes.

Note: If you put a conference call on hold, the other

participants remain connected.

To answer a new call

while active on another

1 Press

• The green light flashes next to the call appearance

button of the held call

2 Press the call appearance button of the incoming call

• You are connected to the incoming call

Hold

Automatically redials the last number you dialed, either an extension or an outside

number. Use to save time in redialing a busy or unanswered number.

To return to the held call

1 Press the call appearance button of the held call

• You are connected to the held call

Note: If you are active on a call and you press the

call appearance button of the held call, the active

call will be dropped (when you have auto-hold).

Last Number Dialed

To automatically redial

the last number you

dialed (extension, outside

number, or trunk/feature

code). This number can be

up to 24 digits.

1 Go off-hook or select a call appearance button

2 Press

or Dial Last Number Dialed access code __________

[ringback tone]

• Wait for the person you called to answer
