vfxadmin user -d -n "<descriptive_name>" <dept_name>
For example, to create a department called custs for general fax distribution, with the descriptive name Customer
Service, enter:
vfxadmin user -d -n "Customer Service" custs
Note
If you omit the -L option from the vfxadmin user command, the department will not be licensed.
After adding to the user database you can confirm the addition by entering:
vfxadmin user -l
